My first time at Portland and after learning to sail at W S M this is flatwater nirvana, spent all afternoon ripping. I went to Portland to get to grips with water starting and all went well. Ther must have been about 30 of 40 on the water most of the afternoon so it was like the M25 throw 8 to 10 Kiters into the mix and and all becomes very busy (mirror signal maneuver). That being said the vibe was good and I will return as soon as I can as it is the place to improve.
